SERVERS
Full Time & Part Time Year Round Positions Available
SBC requires a high standard of friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff. Servers are responsible for creating an enjoyable experience for the customer from greeting, describing beers and menu items, holding conversations and generating return guests. The candidate must be able to manage time wisely, handle customer complaints with knowledge and professionalism, maintain a positive attitude and handle high volume customer demands. All servers must come to work prepared for their shift including proper appearance. Craft beer knowledge is necessary for this position, servers must have a base knowledge of beer styles and be able to learn about new beers quickly.
Responsibilities:
– Opening and closing the pub
– Being knowledgable about daily food and drink specials
– Checking IDs for age approval
– Knowing SBC beer and being able to accurately describe different beer styles to customers
– Providing service to guests in their sections in a timely matter
– Maintaining a positive attitude at all times
– Accurately and efficiently entering food and beverages into the POS system
– Pre-bussing tables and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
– Responding promptly to guests needs
Experience:
– Serving experience preferred, but not necessary.

PUBTENDER
Part Time Year Round Position
SBC is seeking beer enthusiastic pubtenders who are looking for a satisfying and enriching career in the craft beer industry. The perfect person for this job is highly personable, positive and encouraging to others. The candidate must be able to manage time wisely, handle customer complaints with knowledge and professionalism, maintain a positive attitude and handle high volume customer demands. Craft beer knowledge is necessary for this position, pubtenders must have a base knowledge of beer styles and be able to learn about new beers quickly. The candidate must be able to work long shifts, weekends and (certain) holidays are required hours. Candidate must be 21 years of age or older to apply. Optional serving shifts available.
Responsibilities:
– Opening and closing the SBC bar properly
– Properly pouring beer and knowing beer service etiquette
– Cleaning glassware properly
– Checking IDs for age approval
– Being knowledgable about daily food and drink specials
– Knowing SBC beer and being able to accurately describe different beer styles to customers
– Providing service to guests at the bar in a timely matter
– Maintaining a positive attitude at all times
– Accurately and efficiently entering food and beverages into the POS system
– Pre-bussing tables and bar and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
– Responding promptly to guests needsExperience:
– Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a high volume location.

BUSSER/BARBACK
Part Time Year Round Positions Available
SBC requires a high standard of friendly and knowledgeable staff. Busser/Barbacks are responsible for creating an enjoyable environment for guests. The candidate must be able to manage time wisely, keep the pub clean at all times, handle a high volume of demands in a busy environment and maintain a positive attitude. All bussers/barbacks must come to work prepared for their shift including proper appearance. All candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds. Shifts may be long and all candidates must have availability on nights and weekends. Some holidays will be required.
Responsibilities:
– Opening and closing the pub
– Keeping the pub clean (includes tables, floors, entry ways, bathrooms, etc)
– Helping servers when necessary
– Pre-bussing tables and keeping all work areas clean and tidy
– Responding promptly to guests needs

– No experience necessary
