Favorite beer style: I tend to gravitate towards wheat beer more than anything. I also love a good sour.
First beer experience: I was young, probably 5 or 6 years old and I took a sip of my grandpa’s warm beer. I’d have to imagine it was a Blatz or a PBR… Surprisingly, I didn’t think it was terrible.
How did I end up at SBC: I had been in the beer industry since graduating from college… From working for a national brewery, to a distributor, to handling daily business at the bar my husband owned, I lived the beer life! Upon selling the bar a handful of years ago, I went back to school to become a nurse. After working in healthcare, I realized I really missed the beer world. I found an opportunity online with a Saugatuck and I immediately jumped at it… Besides, nobody wants to drink the samples in the hospital!
Favorite part of working for a brewery: Having been on both sides of the coin, I can say that working for a brewery allows you to be more passionate about your product. When you work for a company with a deliciously incredible portfolio, it’s fun going to work!
Favorite activity: Hanging with my three little nuggets, the husband and my friends at our cottage is pretty much what I love to do!
Favorite location ever visited: I’ve been to many tropical destinations and they’ve all been beautiful. However, Boston tops my list as a favorite destination.
