We took one of our favorite Fall/Winter specialty beers, Beam Me Up, Stouty, straight out of the Stout Pack and decided to bring her up to a new level. We increased the malt bill and brought the ABV up to a resounding, yet smooth, 9.5%. Rich coffee and caramel flavors rise from the malt base, along with a slight sweetness that can only be matched by a creamy coconut finish. Top that all off with an added twist of spice and intriguing oak flavors from aging in Oak Rum Barrels for 9 months.
Rum Barrel Aged Imperial Beam Me Up, Stouty (or as we like to call it, RBAIBMUS for “short”) will be available on draft and in bottles in the Barrel Room at SBC beginning Saturday, March 10th.
