Cassondra Reinke is an important part of our SBCK leadership team. She is our Assistant General Manager and we all are so lucky to have her apart of our staff! Let’s dive in and get to know Cassondra a little better.
I started working at Studio Grill as a line cook and I was there for about four years. I helped them with making up new food items, ordering, and cooking. From there I went to Brann’s and I served there for about a year. After Brann’s I worked at Applebees, followed by Mangia, and then after that I came here.
I was sick of working corporate and having to sell a certain number of items per shift and if not, your shifts got taken away. I wanted something more homey, laid-back, and family-oriented. I had my first interview here with Tiffany and I fell in love. This was during the soft opening of SBCK. I was hired in as a bartender and did both serving and bartending. Not even a month after I started, they asked me if I wanted to move up to shift managing because they needed more help. Then, not long after that, they offered me the Assistant General Manager Position.
I’ve lived here since I was 14. I love skiing, I love winter. I mostly like hanging out with my family and going to different breweries. I love going to Western games, I usually do that every year with my family.
I would say either Peanut Butter Porter or the Water Street Tweaked. I love sours, though. That’s my favorite style of beer.
The people. I love the people here. Employees are solid, they love working together and they all get along very well. For the most part, they have each other’s backs, so it makes my job easier to not have to be on their case all of the time. It’s really good to have a good base and then that expands out to our community, too. People want to come in, because they know they’re going to be taken care of.
I love camping, and I love summers. I love the beach and I love sunsets. If I could go to a sunset every single night I would. I honestly really like hanging out at home. I don’t like to go out unless I need to. I like going to lunch with my brother-in-law every Friday, I always look forward to it.
Definitely camping. Every summer my family and I go camping. This year we went to P.J. Hoffmaster; it’s in between Grand Haven and Muskegon. I also love canoeing; I’m a water girl.
I probably would have to go with a steak with a boursin cheese sauce. I also love mushrooms. I’m definitely a meat and potatoes girl.
TLC. I’m a 90s rap girl. I saw them in concert a couple of years ago with Nelly and New Kids. It was fantastic. My nieces also really like Joe Hertler & the Rainbow Seekers, so we listen to them as well.
