Full Time Year Round Position
SBC is seeking an enthusiastic member to add to our Brew House Team. This position is approximately 40 hours/week. Ideal candidates will need to be timely, happy to help, flexible with scheduling and able to lift 30 lbs over their head. Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Duties Include:
– Clean and wash kegs
– Create unique and exciting firkins and pins
– Keeping work area clean and tidy
– Help in other areas of the Brew House when necessary

Part Time Year Round Position

SBCK is seeking enthusiastic cooks who are looking for a satisfying and enriching career in the food and craft beer industry. The perfect person for this job is positive and encouraging, is able to work in a team environment, and possesses some kitchen skills. The candidate must be able to manage time wisely, maintain a positive attitude and handle high-stress work environments. Basic food and cooking knowledge is required for this position – however, training will be provided as well. The candidate must be able to work long shifts, weekends and (certain) holidays are required.

Responsibilities:

– Opening and closing the SBCK kitchen properly
– Following recipes instructions and controlling portion controls of entrées and prep food items
– Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment properly
– Being knowledgeable about items on the menu
– Knowing SBCK food and being able to accurately describe different food items to staff
– Maintaining a positive attitude at all times
– Accurately and efficiently completing food orders within the appropriate time
– Understanding and implementing cleaning and kitchen safety protocols and procedures
– Carrying or transporting food shipments and boxes up to 50 lbs.

— Knowledge on how to prepare meals and ingredients

Full Time & Part Time Year Round Positions Available
SBC requires a high standard of friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff. Servers are responsible for creating an enjoyable experience for the customer from greeting, describing beers and menu items, holding conversations and generating return guests. The candidate must be able to manage time wisely, handle customer complaints with knowledge and professionalism, maintain a positive attitude and handle high volume customer demands. All servers must come to work prepared for their shift including proper appearance. Craft beer knowledge is necessary for this position, servers must have a base knowledge of beer styles and be able to learn about new beers quickly.

Responsibilities:
– Opening and closing the pub
– Being knowledgable about daily food and drink specials
– Checking IDs for age approval
– Knowing SBC beer and being able to accurately describe different beer styles to customers
– Providing service to guests in their sections in a timely matter
– Maintaining a positive attitude at all times
– Accurately and efficiently entering food and beverages into the POS system
– Pre-bussing tables and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
– Responding promptly to guests needs
